I began making jewellery in 1999, after retiring from teaching, due to ill health. After combining my love of crystals with jewellery, I began using semi-precious beads. This soon led to working with semi-precious stones & precious metals. Although most of my work is in silver, I have made pieces using gold & palladium. 

One of the things I most enjoy about semi- precious stones is the fact that no two are ever alike & there is a wide variety. Most of my pieces are “one -offs” for that reason. All my work carries a Sheffield Assay Office hallmark.
