60 years ago Joyce was knitting fairisle berets for herself and her neighbours. On her retirement from making “collectors teddy bears” she returned to her first love of knitting and added crochet work to her skills. She takes inspiration from the colours of the local moors and countryside and uses this to create everyday useful items in vibrant colours.
