Blue Mouse Art founded by Elli Sarri-Neate a felt artist based in Wensleydale. Elli creates felt paintings and animal sculptures using a combination of traditional wet felting and intricate needle felting techniques. Elli draws inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales and its diverse habitats.

Beginning with initial sketches and photographs, Elli brings her vision to life with skill and dedication. She utilizes a variety of sustainable materials, including locally sourced wool whenever possible, to ensure her creations reflect the essence of the region. Elli’s commitment to sustainability extends to her use of hand dyed wool, incorporating rare breed fleeces and natural fibres like silk to add depth and texture to her artwork.

In addition to her felt paintings and animal sculptures.  Elli offers a range of art reproductions in prints, greeting cards, and other art gifts. Furthermore, she is dedicated to sharing her expertise and passion for felting with others through regular workshops, fostering creativity and appreciation for this unique art form within the local community.
