Clare is a self taught mixed media artist in Wetherby.  She finds inspiration from nature and her love of gardening.  She particularly likes exploring textural work, using her own handmade paper, dried seeds, petals and any other material of interest. 

A lot of her work is made using acrylic and  inks which have a looseness and unpredictability.  She particularly enjoys using palette knives and fingers to create her meadow paintings.   Clare takes part in  Artists Around Wetherby Open Studios which is on last two weekends of June.  Commissions, framing  and workshops undertaken, please email me if you wish to be informed of workshops for 2025.

Clare exhibits at various garden and craft events and at RHS Harlow Carr at the Bath House at Harlow Carr.
