Several of the members will be exhibiting at the Newby Hall Craft & Food Show 4-6th July. We will be in our own marquee - look for the banner. Many people will experience the joy of travelling around the wolds and moors, and happen upon a craft workshop where they can witness, first-hand, art being created and craftsmanship of the finest quality. Brigantia can not only help you to discover these artists, but knowing that they only promote those craftsmen who reach high standards of design and manufacture, you should be assured that what you will experience is craftsmanship at its best.  I have had the pleasure of visiting many of these workshops over the years and have been amazed at the diverse range of skills and products on offer. My home now boasts a selection of ceramics, paintings, woodwork and glass which not only decorates my house but having met all the artists who have created those pieces, I feel I am sharing a little piece of their history. Brigantia member businesses range from one-man bands with workshops in the bottom of their gardens, to those who are large and well established. In any case, you will see products which are exclusively made in the area, many whose reputation is worldwide. I hope you too choose to discover the talents of the Brigantia members - enjoy!
